270 beef cattle in Ballymena on Thursday resulted in another steady trade. Beef cows sold to 420p for 750kg at £3150, Fr cows to 286p for 580kg at £1658, beef heifers to 408p for 720kg at £2937, beef bullocks to 410p for 760kgs at £3116 and to a top per head of £3506 for 890kgs. Fr bullocks to 340p for 660kg at £2244.
