- Weanling bulls €6.73/kg* mean of bands
- Weanling heifers €5.74/kg* mean of bands
Reasonable size sale today with just short of 600 on offer. Bull weanling numbers were back a bit today. More farmer buyers around today buying smaller numbers. Shippers were also very active in the bull ring. More lighter calves available in todays sale as trade was steady across the board. A handful of suck calves on offer as a 6 week old CHX bull calf made €1,050. There was a very strong trade in the suckler cow ring with pairs making to €4,050 and in-calf lots making to €4,000.
