- Weanling bulls €5.67/kg* mean of bands
- Weanling heifers €5.21/kg* mean of bands
Big sale today with almost 1,100 on offer, which included 300 calves. Shipping activity limited in the calf ring as sailings were cancelled this morning. However trade in this ring was strong, with some good quality calves available as a LMX bull hit €1,090 and a LMX heifer made €900. FR bulls made from €100 to €400. HEX bull calves made to €620 and HEX heifers made to €540. AAX bull calves made to €600 and AAX heifers made to €470. Bull weanlings were a shade dearer and heifer weanlings were a similar trade to last week. A few dairy cows today and these made to €2,700.
