Weanling sale, Tuesday 18 August 2026
- Weanling bulls €5.98/kg* mean of bands
- Weanling heifers €5.29/kg* mean of bands
Good size sale today with 320 on offer. There was 20 calves on offer with runner numbers starting to increase. HEX calves made to €880, while continental calves made to €890. A few reared FR bulls made to €400. Bull weanlings holding the trade, with little change from last week. Heifer weanlings improved by 10c/kg but the quality of heifers on offer was very good. There was a small entry of sucklers that made to €3,030 for pairs. Our weanling show & sale will be held next Tuesday 25th August.
