An entry of 2200 sheep at Markethill on Monday 22nd September included 1770 lambs which sold in a steady trade for midweight and heavy lambs. Good quality store lambs maintained a firm trade although plainer lambs were slightly easier. Good quality heavy lambs sold from 550- 592p/k for 24.4k at £144.50 for a Ballinderry producer, and for 24.5k at £145 for a Middletown farmer.
