The 120 cull cows at Markethill on Tuesday 7th October maintained a very firm trade. Good quality beef bred cows sold steadily from £290 to £345 for 630k at £2170 for an Armagh producer followed by £341 for 810k at £2760 for a Dungannon farmer. Fleshed Friesian cows sold from £235 to £259 for £262 for 648k at £1700 folllowed by £259 for 614k at £1590.
