An entry of 260 calves at Markethill on Tuesday 30th December returned a very firm demand resulting in a complete clearance. Top quality bull calves sold up to £860 for a Char from a Glenanne producer followed by £800 for an AA from an Armagh farmer. A Kircubbin farmer sold 2 Char bull calves at £760 each.
