Adverse weather conditions resulted in a smaller entry of sheep in Markethill on Monday 5th January 2026. Trade was similar to previous weeks. The heaviest hoggets sold from £150 to £162.50 per head for 30.9k from a Ballykinlar farmer, followed by £157.50 for 40 hoggets (29.8k) from an Armagh producer.
