An entry of 1720 sheep at Markethill on Monday 6th July sold in an improved trade. Of the 1250 lambs presented for sale heavy spring lambs sold readily with good quality heavy lambs selling to 752p/k for 25k at £188 for a Rostrevor producer, followed by 750/k for 24k at £180 for a Jerrettspass farmer.
