An entry of 1850 sheep at Markethill on Monday 5th October sold in a steady trade for heavy lambs and midweight lambs. Store lamb trade was firmer on the week. Good quality heavy lambs sold to a top of 683p/k for 24.3k at £166 for a Dungannon farmer, followed by 636p/k for 24.6k at £156.50 for a Hilltown producer. Main demand from 615-635p/k.
