An entry of 60 cull cows at Markethil on Tuesday 13th October maintained a very strong trade for all types. Good quality beef bred cows sold from £270 to £321 for 672k at £2160 from a Cullyhanna farmer followed by 620k at £1960 £316 from a Glenanne producer. Top price of £2550 was paid for 808k Char £316 from a Rathfriland farmer.
