- Heifers €4.65/kg* from 10 lots
- Cull cows €3.44/kg* from 7 lots
- Weanling bulls €5.51/kg* from 6 lots
- Weanling heifers €4.44/kg* from 5 lots
Over 500 lots presented for sale on Thursday last which was a significant increase in numbers on previous weeks. No major change in prices or trade from previous weeks but a noticeable increase was evident in the number of buyers in attendance and online. The bullock ring witnessed the top quality stores make up to €5.25 a kilo while heavier lots topped out at €3260, €4.97 a kilo was achieved for the top lots in the heifer ring with forward lots making up to €2620. Dry cows peaked at €3470, cows with calves at foot made up to €3120 with springers making up to €2720.
