- Weanling bulls €5.27/kg* from 7 lots
- Weanling heifers €4.93/kg* from 8 lots
Over 400 lots presented for sale on Thursday last. The bullock ring had a sharper trade with better demand for the stores this week while heavier lots made up to €3480. The heifer ring with similar numbers to last week noticed stores make up to €5.42 a kilo, while forward lots made up to €2860. Dry cows made up to €3170 while cows with calves at foot made up to €4260 with springers making up to €2440. The weanling rings while numbers remain small recorded an excellent clearance with heifer weanlings making up to €5.43 a kilo , while the bulls hit €5.93 a kilo.
