- Weanling bulls €7.22/kg* mean of bands
- Weanling heifers €6.63/kg* mean of bands
Big sale today with over 1,000 on offer. Quality starting to get slightly more variable. The top quality bull calves were holding the trade but plainer weanlings were a shade easier and back about 10c/kg. Heifer trade was up 3c/kg across the board. We had 30 in-calf suckler heifers today of variable quality but most had stars and these were in-calf to a Limousin bull for November to Feb and averaged €3,400. Pairs in this ring made to €4,280. A handful of calves today made between €430 and €790.
