Fine size sale again today as bull numbers were up slightly on the week. Overall there was 891 on offer. Bulls over 300kgs were dearer by 8-10c/kg on the week. Weanling heifers were up 5-10c/kg on last week. Overall quality getting a bit more variable especially in the heifer ring. There were only 10 calves available today as a month old LMX heifer hit €900. There was a special entry of in-calf suckler stock and these averaged €4,830 with most calving in December and early 2026. These stock were good strong heifers of approximately 700kgs. A few suckler pairs in this ring also reached €4,950.
