- Weanling heifers €6.15/kg* mean of bands
Just short of 900 on offer today. Quality getting a bit more variable across the board. We had 40 organic stock for sale today and these met strong demand with most of these being weanlings. The main buyers in this section were organic farmers. In-calf lots of sucklers made to €4,260, with pairs making to €3,700. The quality affected the average prices today as bulls were back 10c/kg with the exception of bulls between 300-400kgs. Top quality lots still held the best trade. Heifer trade was similar to last week overall.
