- Weanling bulls €6.22/kg* mean of bands
- Weanling heifers €6.21/kg* mean of bands
Reasonable size sale today with 426 on offer. Heifer weanlings under 300kgs were dearer by 15c/kg and those over 300kgs were a similar trade to last week. Bull weanlings were dearer by 10c/kg across the board. Shippers were very active in both rings, with a lot of farmers about also. In-calf suckler stock made to €4,240 and only a few pairs, which made to €2,500. Only 15 suck calves available today and these were a good trade as a month old AAX bull made €790 & HEX heifer calves made to €520.
