Weanling sale, Tuesday 9 December 2025
- Weanling bulls €6.28/kg* mean of bands
- Weanling heifers €6.45/kg* mean of bands
Smaller sale today with just over 400 on offer, this was mainly due to weather warnings but this didn’t effect the trade. Bull weanlings held a good trade with shippers and farmers competing for stock. Heifer weanlings met a fine trade too with those between 300-400kgs averaging €5.24/kg. There was a large entry of sucklers, with in-calf heifers making to €3,850 & pairs made to €4,790. A handful of suck calves today as FR bulls made €150 and AAX bulls made €660.
