Our annual show & sale was held today with 788 on offer. There was super cull cows available with serious flesh and the standout of these was a BBX cow weighing 910kgs hitting €5,160, as she also took champion. A lot of forward bullocks on offer but not large numbers of these were fully fleshed. Bullocks over 600kgs were a shade dearer and up 10c/kg. Likewise heifers over 500kgs were dearer by 10c/kg. Cow trade was similar to last week with the exception being the top quality cows which were dearer by 20c/kg.
