- Weanling heifers €5.26/kg* mean of bands
Good entry of stock today with 838 on offer and just over 100 suck calves available. Calves were a great trade with a 100% clearance achieved and a lot of farmer buyers active. FR bulls made from €290-€470, HEX bull calves made from €350 to €660, AAX calves made to €510 and continental calves made to €810. There was one calved dairy heifer and she made €2,790. In the suckler ring in-calf lots made to €5,310 and pairs made to €4,720. The bull & heifer weanling trade was similar to last week overall, with quality a bit more variable in both rings.
