- Weanling bulls €5.36/kg* mean of bands
- Weanling heifers €5.69/kg* mean of bands
Good entry of stock today despite change of sale date due to St Patricks day with 641 on offer with 191 calves on offer. Yet again calves were an excellent trade. Not as many Fr bull calves today and these made €220 to €420. AA bull calves made €290 to €490 and AA heifers made to €420. Hex bull calves made to €630 and Hex heifers to €600. BBX made to €660. Pairs in the suckler ring to €4,400 and in calf lots made to €2,980. Bull weanlings held the trade with some very heavy bulls included in the sale today. Heifers a strong trade with some very fancy prices for some of these.
