- Weanling bulls €5.62/kg* mean of bands
- Weanling heifers €5.45/kg* mean of bands
Good size sale again today with 869 on offer which included 235 calves. The calves on offer were good strong calves with some excellent quality calves available and these met a good trade. A CHX bull calf made €1,040 And a CHX heifer hit €880. Not as many FR bull calves available and these made €110 to €570. AAX bull calves made to €440 & AAX heifers made to €360. HEX bulls made to €700 & HEX heifers made to €500. There was a small entry of suckling stock as uncertainty due to TB testing rule changes. Bull weanlings were dearer by 10c/kg up to 500kgs . Heifer weanlings were dearer by 10c/kg.
