- Weanling bulls €5.07/kg* mean of bands
- Weanling heifers €5.62/kg* mean of bands
Good size sale today with just short of 800 on offer and this included 190 calves. Calves met a great trade again with farmers still very active alongside shippers. The strong calves are still the standout trade with continental bull calves hitting €780. AAX bull calves made to €540 and AAX heifers made to €550. HEX bull calves made to €680 and HEX heifers made to €440. There was a small entry in the suckler ring with pairs making to €3,680 and in-calf lots making to €3,320.
