Smaller sheep sale today with 468 on offer. The spring lambs averaged €4.63/kg, but quality was quite variable with a lot of underfed lambs. The hoggets averaged €3.82 as quality was variable in this section too. There was a strong trade for the well fleshed culls with 85kgs hitting €256, 93kg ewes hit €250, 72kg ewes made €198, 81 kgs ewes made €228 and a 103kg ewe hit €270. There was quite a few ewes & lambs available today and these made to €440 for ewes with couples and to €375 for a ewe with her single lamb.
