- Heifers €4.38/kg* mean of bands
- Cull cows €3.39/kg* mean of bands
Bigger than expected sale today with 667 cattle on offer. Bullocks back 10c/kg across the board but still some exceptional prices. Cull cow trade was also easier by 10c/kg. The standout feature of the day was aged bulls which averaged €3.43/kg as a CH bull weighing 1,050kgs making €4,000 and a LM bull weighing 940kgs hitting €3,600. Altogether there was a dozen aged bulls on offer. In the heifer ring trade was also easier and back 10-15c/kg. There was a large entry of heavy type heifers available.
