- Weanling bulls €5.56/kg* mean of bands
- Weanling heifers €5.33/kg* mean of bands
Good size sale today with 742 on offer which included 153 calves and a lot of these were strong calves which met a great trade. Nearly all beef breeds available. AAX bull calves made to €880 and AAX heifer calves made to €550. Continental bull calves made to €940, with continental heifer calves making to €750. HEX bulls made to €630 and HEX heifer calves made to €570. Some good quality sucklers on offer in the suckler ring as pairs made to €5,160 and in-calf lots made to €3,220. Bull weanlings up to 450kgs were easier by 10c/kg, with lots over 450kgs back 20c/kg.
