Cattle sale, Monday 29 September 2025
ORGANIC CATTLE HIT €8.67 PER KG AT KILMALLOCK MART. 1,500 Cattle were sold at Kilmallock Mart this week. On Monday, Bullocks made up to €2,930 a head or €4.93 per kg. Dry Cows hit €2,840 each or €4.09 per kg. Heifers hit €2,500 each or €4.72 per kg. Dairy Stock made up to €2,540 each. Heavy Bulls sold for up to €3,220 each or €4.05 per kg. Up to €1,270 was paid for Runners. On Tuesday, Weanling Bulls made up to €1,970 each or €6.20 per kg. Weanling Heifers sold for up to €1,660 each or €6.04 per kg. On Saturday last Organic Bullocks made up to €2,980 each or €8.67 per kg.
