Cattle sale, Monday 22 September 2025
900 cattle went under the hammer at Kilmallock Mart on Monday last. Trade again was very strong. Bullocks made up to €2,790 each or €5.60 per kg. Dry cows hit €2,400 each or €3.40 per kg. Heifers sold for up to €2,300 a head or €4.86 per kg. Dairy stock made up to €2,720 a head. Heavy bulls sold for up to €3780 each or €4.11 per kg. Runners made up to €1090 each or €7.90 per kg. This Saturday 27 th of September an organic sale will take place at Kilmallock Mart commencing at 11am.
