Cattle sale, Monday 15 September 2025
Monday last saw 1050 cattle sold at Kilmallock Mart. A strong robust trade all round. Bullocks made up to €2890 each or €5.27 per kg. Dry Cows hit €2870 a head or €3.93 per kg. Heifers sold for up to €2600 each or €4.53 per kg. Dairy stock made up to €2800 each. Heavy Bulls sold for up to €2470 a head or €4.08 per kg. Calves/Runners hit €1190 each or €8.50 per kg. The next weanling sale is on Tuesday next 23 rd of September at 6pm and every Tuesday thereafter.
