BIG NUMBERS AND BIG DEMAND AT KILMALLOCK MART. 1330 Cattle were sold at Kilmallock this week. Lighter lots in particular were making great prices. On Monday Bullocks made up to €2340 a head for lots under 550kgs or €5.15 per kg. Heavier bullocks sold for up to €3100 each or €4.50 per kg. Dry cows hit €3150 each or €3.97 per kg. Heifers made up to €2820 each or €4.92 per kg. Dairy stock sold for up to €2580. Heavy bulls made up to €3210 each or €4.03 per kg. Runners made up to €1140 and young calves hit €830.
