1100 cattle were sold at Kilmallock Mart this week. There was an increase in prices again this week. Bullocks made up to €2960 a head or €5.42 per kg. Dry Cows hit €3080 a head or €4.11 per kg. Heifers sold for up to €2750 each or €5.18 per kg. An Entry of Spring Calving dairy cows made up to €2300 each. Heavy Bulls made up to €4180 each or €4.57 per kg. Runners made up to €1240 each. Young calves made up to €700. On Tuesday Weanling bulls made up to €1910 each or €6.28 per kg. Weanling Heifers sold for up to €1980 a head or €5.50 per kg.
