HUGE DEMAND AND HIGH PRICES CONTINUE AT KILMALLOCK MART. 1500 cattle were sold at Kilmallock Mart this week. Prices continue to increase and high demands remain strong among the various buyers. Bullocks sold for up to €2780 or €4.83 per kg for lots less than 550kgs. Heavier bullocks made up to €3780 each. Dry cows made up to €3100 each or €3.75 per kg. Heifers sold for up to €2700 a head or €4.18 per kg. Heavy Bulls hit €3000 each. Runners sold for up to €1330 each and young calves hit €770.
