Cattle sale, Monday 27 October 2025
SUCKLER COW AND CALF HIT RECORD HIGH OF €5,700 AT KILMALLOCK MART. 1400 cattle were sold at Kilmallock Mart this week. Prices continue to increase and high demands remain strong among the various buyers. Bullocks sold for up to €2650 or €4.95 per kg for lots less than 550kgs. Heavier bullocks made up to €3450 each. Dry cows made up to €3570 each or €4.24 per kg. Heifers sold for up to €3200 a head or €3.97 per kg. Heavy Bulls hit €3220 each. Runners sold for up to €1360 each and young calves hit €660.
