STRONG STORE TRADE AT KILMALLOCK MART. 2000 Cattle and calves were sold at Kilmallock Mart this week. The lighter the cattle are the more they make!! Bullocks under 550kgs sold for up to €2800 a head or €5.51 per kg. Heavier Bullocks made up to €2420 each or €3.80 per kg. Dry cows hit €2450 each or €3.25 per kg. Heifers sold for up to €1860 each or €4.84 per kg for lighter stock. Heavy heifers made up to €2110 each or €3.85 per kg. Dairy stock made up to €2520. Young calves sold for up to €860 with Farmers and Exporters very active.
