Huge thank you to everyone who donated to the charity sale. Huge numbers of spectators around the ring showing support for this great fundraiser. 1455 Cattle and calves were sold at Kilmallock Mart this week. There was a strong demand for all types of cattle. Bullocks under 550kgs sold for up to €1863 a head or €3.89 per kg. Heavier Bullocks made up to €2297 each or €3.79 per kg. Dry cows hit €1850 each or €3.54 per kg. Heifers sold for up to €1525 each or €3.80 per kg for lighter stock. Heavy heifers made up to €1966 each or €3.57 per kg. Dairy stock made up to €2360.
