Despite recent turmoil in the livestock trade, a good entry of 1250 sheep at Markethill on Monday 1st December maintained a steady trade for heavy and medium weight lambs with store lambs selling at very firm prices. Cull ewe trade was noticeably easier due to no export to mainland GB.
