Sheep trade took a hammering this week due to the blue tongue kiosk with prices for all classes of stock significantly reduced. Heavy lambs sold from £125 to £139 per head. With top quality lots from 510p to 533p for 17 lambs at 25.7k at £137 from a Whitecross farmer followed by 532p for 14 lambs 24.7k at £131.50 from a Tandragee producer.
