An entry of 900 sheep at Markethill on Monday 2nd February saw another slight improvement on hogget prices. Good quality heavy hoggets sold from 550-590p/k for 24k at £141.50. Overweight hoggets sold from £148 to £156 each. Good quality midweight hoggets sold from 575-620p/k for 20 hoggets at 22.3k for £138. A smaller entry of stores sold to a top of 643p/k for 18.2k at £117.
