An entry of 1030 sheep at Markethill on Monday 16th February returned a slightly firmer trade for fat hoggets. Good quality heavy hoggets sold from 560-587p/k for 38 hoggets, 24.1k at £141.50 for a Richhill farmer, followed by 583p/k for 24.7k at £144 for a Killylea producer. Overweight hoggets sold to a top of £166, with several other pens from £150-£163 per head.
