An entry of 1200 sheep at Markethill on Monday 9th March saw a complete clearance with a stronger trade in all sections. The 740 hoggets sold in a noticeably firmer trade with good quality heavy hoggets selling to 686p/k for 24.5k at £168 for a Crossmaglen farmer, followed by 675p/k for 24k at £162 for a Markethill producer.
