Cull cows sold steadily in Markethill on Tuesday 31st March. Good quality beef bred cows sold to £317 for 770k at £2440 from a local producer followed by £299 for 626k at £1870 from a Keady farmer. Dairy bred cows sold to £260 for 630k at £1640 from a Whitecross farmer and up to £1900 for 832k at £228 from a Rathfriland farmer. Main demand from £225 to £237 per 100 kilos.
