- Weanling heifers €6.36/kg* mean of bands
Big sale today with just over 800 head on offer and 3 rings in operation. There were 25 calves available today and these made from €380 to €910. A good entry in the suckler ring with in-calf lots making to €4,420 and pairs hitting €5,200. Quality of bull weanlings slipped a bit compared with last week but demand was on a par with last week still. Heifer weanlings were a shade easier for anything under 400kgs and back 5-7c/kg with heifers over 400kgs dearer by a similar margin.
