Weanling sale, Tuesday 24 February 2026
- Weanling bulls €5.75/kg* mean of bands
- Weanling heifers €5.26/kg* mean of bands
Numbers back in both bull & heifer weanlings but calf numbers up with 150 on offer. There was a 100% clearance achieved in the calf ring with all farmer buyers here. FR bull calves made from €180-390. HEX bulls made to €710 and HEX heifers made to €680. AAX bulls made to €560 and AAX heifers made to €370. Small number of dairy stock but these made to €2,820 for a FR heifer calved a week. In-calf lots in the suckler ring made to €4,540 and pairs were scarce and made to €3,420. Overall bull weanlings were a similar trade to last week but quality was a bit more variable.
