- Heifers €4.82/kg* mean of bands
- Cull cows €3.85/kg* mean of bands
Reasonable size sale today with just over 700 on offer. Bullocks between 500-600kgs were a shade dearer but otherwise it was a similar trade to last week. Heifers under 600kgs were up 5c/kg and again it was a similar trade to last week otherwise in this ring. Heavy cows over 700kgs were a shade dearer but store type cows were a bit easier. Top price in the cull cow ring was €4,100. A small entry of aged bulls averaged €3.60/kg, as a CH bull weighing 1,070kgs made €3,910 & a LM bull weighing 880kgs made €3,420.
