- Weanling heifers €5.64/kg* mean of bands
Just short of 900 head available today which included 170 calves. A serious trade for calves with both shippers and farmers very active. In fairness to farmers producing calves, they are well fed and mostly all over 3 weeks of age which makes a big difference. A lot more FR bulls today as the lighter on made from €200-€270, with the better FR bulls making from €300-470. HEX bulls made to €720 and HEX heifers made to €560. AAX bulls made to €580 and AAX heifers made to €430. Pairs in the suckler ring made to €4,600, with in-calf lots making to €3,550.
