Fair size sale today with 777 on offer. Trade for store bullocks up to 600kgs was very good. Quite a number of forward type bullocks and these were back 5-10c/kg on the week with the dairy cross types taking the biggest hit. The pull in beef prices has been reflected in prices and appetite for forward stock in all rings. There was 8 aged bulls on offer averaging €3.74/kg with a Blonde d’Aquatine bull, weighing 1,120kgs making €4,440 & a Limousin bull weighing 965kgs making €3,700.
