Weanling sale, Tuesday 10 March 2026
- Weanling bulls €5.85/kg* mean of bands
- Weanling heifers €5.66/kg* mean of bands
Big sale today with almost 1,200 on offer. A very big entry of calves, with 300 on offer and some very fancy prices achieved. A top price of €1,120 was got for a LMX heifer calf. HEX bulls made from €300-€660 & HEX heifers made to €650. FR bulls made from €80 to €280, depending on quality and strength. Bull & heifer weanlings were a bit quieter today especially for plainer lots. The top quality lots are still holding the trade. Cows with calves made to €4,670, while in-calf lots made to €3,660.
