- Weanling bulls €5.50/kg* mean of bands
- Weanling heifers €5.41/kg* mean of bands
Big sale today with just shy of 1,000 head on offer which included 172 calves. Again there was a great trade for calves with farmers still very active amongst shippers. 6 HEX heifer calves hit €570. HEX bull calves made to €680. AAX bull calves made to €810 and AAX heifer calves made to €690. It was mostly HEX & AAX calves available today, as continentals made to €810 for a CHX heifer and continental bulls made to €680. Dairy cows made from €1,420 to €2,040. A clearance sale of in-calf sucklers due to calf in June made from €1,700 to €4,200.
