Weanling sale, Tuesday 28 July 2026
- Weanling bulls €5.35/kg* mean of bands
- Weanling heifers €5.27/kg* mean of bands
Smaller sale today with 268 on offer which included 35 calves. A small entry of suckling stock and these made to €3,660 for pairs and in calf lots made to €2,500. Bull weanlings back 5c to 10c/kg in some instances. Heifer weanlings marginally better but some cracking heifers available. Friesian bull calves made €140 to €290. A number of calves been offered for sale were in the 2 - 3 month old bracket and these made to €990.
