- Heifers €4.34/kg* mean of bands
- Cull cows €3.50/kg* mean of bands
Smaller size sale today with 464 on offer. Again a lot of forward type bullocks but beef cattle supply was limited. In the bullock ring there was a 50:50 split between dairy crosses and continentals. Bullocks over 600kgs were a similar trade to last week, with bullocks under this weight easier by 10-15c/kg. It was a similar story in the heifer ring with heavier heifers the best sellers, as stores were back by 15c/kg. Just short of 100 cows on offer with more of a mix of dairy cows through today’s sale.
